Terms of use
Accounts, organisations, acceptable use, uploaded content and the limits of liability.
These terms govern the use of the provengine service. By creating an account or accepting an invitation you agree to them. The processing of personal data is described separately in the privacy notice.
1. What the service is
provengine is a task management service that produces recurring and one-off field work from a template, assigns it to teams or individuals, and has the work proved with photos and question-and-answer forms. It is delivered through a web panel and a mobile application.
2. Accounts and organisations
- You are responsible for the security of your account. Your password is not stored by provengine; it is held by the identity provider.
- Whoever creates an organisation is its owner and the controller of the data inside it.
- An invitation link is personal and valid for a limited time. Sharing the link is sharing your account.
- The last owner of an organisation cannot delete their account without transferring ownership first.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reach data you are not authorised to see, or to circumvent access controls
- Overload the service in a way that degrades it for others
- Upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content
- Use the service to monitor employees unlawfully
For photo evidence the principle of proportionality is binding: a requested photo must document the object of the work, not the worker. The organisation's administrator is responsible for the templates they create meeting that principle.
4. Content you upload
Rights in the photos and documents you upload remain with you or your organisation. provengine processes them only to provide the service, and does not use them for training, marketing or transfer to third parties.
File types and sizes are limited, and a file whose contents do not match its declared type is refused.
5. Availability
The service is provided "as is". Temporary interruptions may occur through maintenance, updates, or outages of external services outside our control. The mobile application is designed to work offline and send its queue when connectivity returns.
6. Retention and deletion
Task records and photos are kept for the retention period the organisation sets (24 months by default, adjustable between 3 and 120) and are removed in a periodic destruction run once it expires. When a user deletes their account, their task records are anonymised as part of the organisation's audit trail and their photos are deleted. See retention.
7. Limitation of liability
provengine is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of the service, save for its own intent or gross negligence. This limitation applies to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
8. Changes and termination
These terms are versioned. For a material change you are asked to consent again in the application. You may delete your account at any time; access may be suspended for use that breaches these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of __YETKILI_MAHKEME__ have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.
